Teacher Resources

Free, downloadable Teacher Resources will help you to prepare your classroom lessons. Each Penguin Reader is supported by Teacher’s Notes, Activity Worksheets, and Answer Keys.  To access the free resources available for the Penguin Readers, please use our Penguin Finder to select your title.

Use the Teacher’s Notes to introduce the author, summarize the story, and engage students in discussion, pair work, and research.

Photocopiable Activity Worksheets offer a variety of practice activities for class work or homework, including vocabulary matching, true/false questions, story sequencing, and sentence completion.

Answer Keys
provide complete answers to the Activity Worksheets as well as the comprehension questions and language practice found in each book.

All files are PDF files and require Adobe Acrobat Reader.  Download the application here
